MINUTES
1.Call to Order, Approval of Minutes: A quorum was present. The minutes of the September 6, meeting were approved.
2.President’s report. Mr.Barber reported that Mr. Horne has approached a former CIA member as a potential Speaker at the Annual Meeting, but he has not committed as of yet.
3. Mr. Brown reported that $11,700 is in the treasury, with $1100.in bills to be paid.
We also received a $2000 sponsorship from Sound View.
4. Mr. Siegel reported that The Deck is to open on November 1 with an open house and entertainment. Oakridge will be open for Year End. The Society of Seniors will be playing on Oak Ridge and Deer Creek from October 26th, to 29th.
5. In addition, there was a discussion of the Learning Center Proposal, including efforts to reduce costs, and to consider other needs for the capital requirements.
6. Mr. Bellucci led a discussion of the upcoming B/A Cup at Oakridge and Palmetto , including Captains duties, publicity, food, pictures, and other details.
