Minutes
1. Call to Order, Approval of Minutes: Mr. Hainly called meeting to order at 3:00
pm. A quorum was present. Minutes of the 3/7 and 4/4 meeting were approved.
2. President’s Report: Mr. Hainly discussed proposed Tournaments subcommittee
activities: weekly Par 3 course, Husband-Wife/Mixed Member-Member, Mingle
with Pros, Summer Skills Challenge, and potentially “Nine and Dine” events.
3. Vice President’s Report: Mr. Schepis provided a report about Golf & Greens
Committee activities. G & G approved use of all courses for GFAC in 2020.
4. Standards Comm. Report: Mr. Siegel provided a report. He or Mr. Ura will report
monthly. Goal is to establish regular communication with members. He discussed
several current course-condition challenges and how staff is addressing them. A
contingency plan is being developed to address labor issues. Feedback is
welcomed; contact Mr. Lautzenhiser (Standards Chair).
5. Treasurer’s Report: Mr. Brown presented the P&L statement for March.
Expenses are on budget. New supply of hats has been received.
6. Membership Report: Numbers continue to grow; 31 new members since Feb. 1.
Mr. Lombard (Event Director) provided an overview of the Wednesday Night
Scramble. First event is May 29 at Oakridge course.
7. Technology Report: Mr. Cunningham reported on database modification
activities. Mr. DeLuca will be assisting with database activities in future.
8. Golf Chair Report: No report.
9. Club Captains Report: No report.
10. New Neighbors Golf Chair Report: Mr. Rubin introduced Mr. Klein who will be
serving as new Golf Chair, effective in June. Mr. Happ & Bumsted will assist.
11. Social Chair Report: Mr. Bunn working with Mr. McGough to finalize speaker
Tom Coyne event scheduled on Sept. 23.
12. Old Business: Mr. Quinn reported that new-member communication process has
been modified to the Golf Captains’ satisfaction.
13. New Business: Mr. Hainly announced that long-time LMGA Secretary, Mr.
Brennan, has resigned. Mr. Monaco will fill position until election.
14. Meeting was adjourned at 4:45 pm.
