NBA Coach Bob Weinhauer - Tales From Courtside

 

 

Landings resident Bob Weinhauer has spent a lifetime in basketball. In his coaching career he has coached and held many executive positions at the high school, college and professional levels. Bob started his coaching career at Massapequa High School on Long Island NY. His performance there earned him a chance to join Head Coach Chuck Daly at the Univ. of Pennsylvania. After four years Bob became Head Coach, won five straight Ivy League Championships, and coached the team to NCAA "sweet sixteen" and "final four" seasons. Next Bob accepted the Head coaching position at Arizona State University in the Pac 10. After four years in Arizona Bob moved on to the NBA and served an Asst. Coach, Head Coach, Asst. General Manager, General Manager and VP of Basketball Operations for several different teams [Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets {two NBA titles}, Milwaukee Bucks and the L.A. Clippers. Along this exciting career Bob met many characters and had any number of experiences that you will really enjoy hearing about

Dinner will consist of manly fare, including burgers, brats, sliders, slaw, potato salad, cookies etc.
