The game was a Pick-6 Scramble. Flight 1 played six holes each from the Tournament, Club and Course tees. The 2nd Flight played from the Club, Medal and Skidaway tees.
The matches were exciting with tight competition: Flight 2 scores ranged from 53-59 and Flight 1 from 55-61. A three-way card match decided 2nd and 3rd place in flight 1.
And the winners were:
First place in Flight 1: Munro, Morrison and Poleynard with a score of 55. Second place was won by G.Snyder, B.Schmidt, Jannino and Higbee with a 57. Third place, also with 57, was Schepis, O’Donnell, Hainly and Bellucci.
Flight 2 had the low scores for the day. First place: D.Snyder, B.Murphy, Walradt and R.Rubin with a score of 53. Second place was won by R.Rosenstock, Meyer, Deluca, and Boyce with a 54. Third place, with a score of 55 was Kumins, Daniel, Gladden, and Staman.
Next week is the LMGA Championship and the final Player of the Year tournament. A 9AM shotgun at Oakridge on Wednesday will be followed by the usual beverages and a Burgers & Brats cookout. The 9AM shotgun on Thursday at Palmetto will be followed by the Annual Awards Dinner, beginning at 5:30pm.
