The game was 4-person Stableford – one winner for Front 9, Back 9 and Overall 18 holes with no double-dipping. 18 hole winners (with a 135) were Ken Cote/John Bellucci/Gary Howard/Bob Rubin who edged out our Back 9 winners (score of 65) Jeff Lamson/Mike McCarty/Steve Heacox/Nathan Alexander (with a 134). Our Front 9 winners were Bob Schmidt/Kerry Fosse/Jack Welch/Dave Breithaupt with a 70.
And warranting a special shout-out is our fearless leader's team (Mike Barber/Bob Hainly/Kevin Olson/Tom Cloft). They managed to be DFL "3 ways" finishing 17 strokes behind the next to last team for 18 holes. Definitely sounds like a handicap-padding round for all 4 of them.
So congratulations to all of the winners and condolences to our DFL team (perhaps they should have started with the "19th hole" rather than ending with it).
