The game was set for 4-man A-B-C-D player teams at Deer Creek with 2 or more balls on every hole. But again, we were done in by the weather. Rain up until tee time caused 10-20 of the 60+ scheduled golfers to stay home. With 40ish golfers at the DC range, the decision was made to forgo the planned format (too difficult to restructure the foursomes with the time available) but let everyone set up their own foursomes and take advantage of the slots that were reserved for LMGA. Most folks at the range took advantage of this and were rewarded with great weather on the course. And the biggest reward of all was that Gary Howard had the usual libations at the 19th hole for all to enjoy – way to go Gary!
