Day One of the 2023 Bouchillon-Ambrose Cup Championship finals saw a major shift in the current standings as Team Deer Creek powered from last place to move ahead of Team Oakridge. Meanwhile, Team Palmetto continued to dominate with another strong showing, while rival Marshwood stayed close behind in the number two spot.
With two days of competition remaining, Palmetto leads with 14.1 accumulated points, Marshwood at 10.0, Deer Creek with 8.75 and Oakridge trailing with 6.15.
Last year, Oakridge swept the competition and won the BA Cup with a total of 27.85 points against Marshwood’s 26.5, Deer Creek’s 22.5 and Palmetto’s 21.5. The final 2022 numbers show that there is still plenty of opportunity for the teams to trade places. Competition resumes Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 11-12.
