Ken Ritz outscored all competitors in all flights in the Sept. 12 Individual Stableford game on the Oakridge course to win the 4th flight over Buck Buckner and David Evans, each with 30 points. Buck came in 2nd after a comparison of cards.
In the 1st Flight, Bill Ansley won for a second straight week, garnering 39 Stableford points to beat Pat Beringer in a cardoff. Ansley also won the week before in a cardoff. RJ Jackson, just back from his summer up north, came in third with 37 points.
Another card comparison decided the 2nd Flight, with Timothy Leisman besting Bobby Balmes, although both players came in with 36 points. Randy Hatch came in 3rd with 33 points.
Chuck Zujkowski tallied 38 points to win the 3rd Flight over Mark Witbeck and Don McVay, each of whom scored 36 points.
The final Bouchillon-Ambrose Cup match of the year is scheduled for Sept. 19; the format is 4-ball. That is followed by the Championship rounds with a four ball match on Oct. 3 on the Palmetto course; a modified Alternate Shot match on the Oakridge course Oct. 9; and Singles matches on the Deer Creek course Oct. 10.
