As a reminder, the game each week is a 9-hole Foursome A-B-C-D Team Scramble with team prizes based on gross scores, supplemented by a Skins game.
This week there were 16 LMGA participants who were joined by our Deer Creek pro’s Spencer Sheeler and Joey Tilton. Two teams were tied with a winning gross score of 29. The winner of the scorecard playoff was the team of Greg Snyder, Jonathan Jonston, John Bokina, and Bill Horne.
In the Skins competition, there were 2 Skins awarded with our first-place team taking one of them while the team of Billy Brunton, Alex Bokina, Ross Petrochak and Ed Zimmer won the 2nd Skin. This team was also the other team with a score of 29.
But setting aside all differences at the 19th hole, all the folks enjoyed the customary complementary beverages.
Next Wednesday, the 24th, the Wednesday Evening Scramble will be at 6pm on Palmetto, which is in great golfing shape. Sign-up by calling the Plantation Golf Shop on Wednesday June 24th from 9:00am to 3:00pm to register. And then show up before 5:45 on Wednesday evening to play. That is all there is to it; the rest will be handled by the Club Pros and the LMGA leadership. Hope to see y’all there.
