As a reminder, the game each week is a 9-hole Foursome A-B-C-D Team Scramble with team prizes based on gross scores, supplemented by a Skins game. This week we had 13 LMGA members plus one of our club pros lead each of the 4 Foursomes (Spencer Scheeler, Andrew Ward, Joey Tilton, and Eric Mitchell).
The team of Eric Mitchell, John and Alex Bokina, and Bill Horne blew away the field by carding a 29 while the other scores were two 32s and a 34. Three skins were won with the Mitchell team winning one, the team of Spencer Scheeler, Frank Schepis, Mark Dusek, and Bobby Balmes winning one and the team of Andrew Ward, Jim Boyce, Martin Halper, Jack Welch and Dave Angell winning one.
We were glad to see that 16 folks were not deterred by the summer weather, and especially welcomed were our LMGA’s working members. Thanks to all who participated this week. And many thanks to all the LMGA members and our club pros who showed up to play our Wednesday Evening Scrambles throughout the summer. We had a great time and we already are looking forward to our 2021 Scramble season.
