June 16 Results
Six foursomes and three Landings Club pros turned out for the June 16 scramble, the second of 2021. The team of Craig Flynn, John Landuyt, Daniel Smith and Greg Snyder won with a six-under score of 30 on the frontside of the Oakridge course. Four other teams were one stroke off the lead.
The team of Alex Bokina, Hon Bokina, Ross Petronchak, and Cliff Spiro won the only skin with a birdie on the 1st hole; all the other holes saw multiple birdies.
June 23 Results
Six foursomes led by six Landings Club pros played the front nine of the Deer Creek course with the team of pro Kyle Brennaman, Steve Bunn, Terry Irvin, and Paul Patrick shooting a stellar 8-under 28 for the win. Brennaman kicked off the fireworks with a 260-yard 3-wood to six feet on the No. 3 par 5. The team then sank six straight birdies.
The team of pro Spencer Bethel, John Landuyt, Peter Quinn, and Steve Voss shot 6-under to take 2nd place. The remaining four teams were at 4-under.
Four skins were awarded. Brennaman’s team took one with the eagle on the 3rd hole and another with a birdie on No. 8; Bethel’s team eagled No. 5; and the team of pro Andrew Ward, Bobby Balmes, Jeff Kane, and Mark Sestili earned a skin with a birdie on No. 2.
