Jan. 28 Results: Runaway victory in one flight and close battle in the other on a cold, windy day.

Mike Staman's four net birdies and two net eagles gave his team a runaway victory in the Team Stableford event; in the other flight, three points separated the 1st-place team from the 3rd-place team.  


Jan. 21 Results: Defending Champs Beaten Easily in First B-A Cup Contest of 2021

In the first Bouchillon-Ambrose cup of 2021, the Palmetto team crushed defending 2020 champs Oakridge 8.5 to 3.75. Deer Creek won a closer victory over Marshwood, 8 to 6.

Every hole is important in Stableford scoring but this week's overall winners' big point totals on single holes helped them claim victory.

Tournament for a Cure Sign-Up Begins Soon

LMGA members are invited to participate in the annual tournament to raise money for cancer research at the Mercer School of Medicine. Formerly known as Golf for a Cure, Together for a Cure will include pickleball, croquet, tennis, and bocce players.

Stellar Round Leads Team to Victory

Member John Evans shot a stellar 78, including three birdies, to lead his team to victory in Flight 2 in the first LMGA tournament of the year, a team Stableford event on Oakridge Jan. 7.

Pick Six Winners Combined Strategy and Skill

Bundled up on a day when the temperature never rose out of the 40s, 76 golfers played the last LMGA outing of 2020 on Marshwood Dec. 17; the game was the ever-popular Pick Six scramble.

2020 LMGA Championship Tournament – November 18th/19th

Almost 100 men joined us for the 2-day End-of-Year tournament which was held under early winter-like temperatures and winds.
