Welcome to the Landings Men's Golf Association, dedicated to improving the golf experience for members of the Landings Club.  Members enjoy weekly, friendly individual and group competitions, participate with their assigned team in the yearlong Bouchillon-Ambrose Cup, have the option of competing in off-island tournaments against other clubs, support Landings Club staff, and assist in keeping our six courses in good condition.

Results for 13 April Tournament

The venue was Plantation and the game was a team Stableford; overall winners were Tom Siepel, Don Snyder, Allan Boyce, and Gary Poleynard.

Results for 6 April Tournament

At Magnolia, the game was a team stableford grouping the 3 flights by their respective skill levels.  Members enjoyed free beer and grilled hotdogs after the match.  

Results for 30 March Tournament

At Marshwood, players competed against each other in a match play format as part of the year-long competition for the Bouchillon-Ambrose Cup.  Plantation beat Marshwood and Oakridge defeated Deer Creek.

Masters Week Tournaments

 Now is the time to start getting into the spirit of The Masters by signing up for all the events on tap for the Masters during early April.

Results for 9 March Tournament

On 9 March at Magnolia, we played a team 3-2-1 format. A bunch of tall guys (Chaplin, Drysdale, and Gallagher) won Flight One; several shorter but potent guys (Alexander, Brandon and team) won Flight Two.

Results for 2 March Tournament

At Palmetto, the game was a scramble "using the whole course" with A and B players in one flight and C and not quite C players in the other flight.  While wolfing down complimentary brats and slurping beer, members engaged in a discussion on the Capital Plan with several members of the Capital Plan team, The Landings Club board, and Club leadership. 

Results for 23 February Tournament Match

A beautiful day at Deer Creek; the game was 1+ on odd holes, exaclty 2 on even holes.  The winners were a combination of strong players, average players, and players aspiring to be average. But as usual, all players had fun and the beer was free and cold.
