Welcome to the Landings Men's Golf Association, dedicated to improving the golf experience for members of the Landings Club.  Members enjoy weekly, friendly individual and group competitions, participate with their assigned team in the yearlong Bouchillon-Ambrose Cup, have the option of competing in off-island tournaments against other clubs, support Landings Club staff, and assist in keeping our six courses in good condition.

LMGA MoreSkins Update – May 5th Results

Thanks to all who participated in our MoreSkins game at TP on May 5th. We had 34 players out of a total of 55 participate from all handicap levels, resulting in a total skins pool of $170.We had 7 skins awarded (up from 5 last week) representing a wide range of handicap indexes from 8.8  to 21.4 and each skin was worth $24.

May 5 Results: Wolod and Benson Shine in Team Stableford Game

Wolod had five birdies and shot 74; Benson had 10 pars.

April 28: Higgins and Voss Fuel Team Victory in Stableford Competition

A new approach to awarding skins, designed to make the side bet fairer to golfers of all abilities and encourage more golfers to participate, debuted as a pilot for this game; one of LMGA's founders remembered.

MoreSkins Results from April 25th

Thanks for all who participated in our MoreSkins game at Marshwood. As promised, we are tracking the stats for this pilot program from each event, and will make our final recommendation to the LMGA Board in June.  We had 41 players out of a total of 67 participate from all handicap levels, resulting in a total skins pool of $205.  In previous events, we usually had around 30 players participating in the skins games.  We had 5 winners representing a wide range of handicaps indexes from 10.3 to 23.3, and each skin was worth $41.

April 21 Results: Palmetto Gets on Board in Fourth B-A Cup Competition of the Year

Oakridge leads the year-long tourney with three victories; Marshwood and Deer Creek have two, and Palmetto one.

Announcement: New LMGA Skins Format – MoreSkins Starting April 28th

The LMGA Board of Directors established a subcommittee (Charlie Bradford, Scott Happ, Greg Snyder, Bill Tomassini) and included The Landings tournament directors Andrew Ward and Brian Stefan to explore ideas to improve the weekly skins game.
